PROFILE : Born in Gojnur, a tiny village of Karnataka; she is an arts Post graduate from Kuvempuuniversity. She is presently staying at Oshiwara, Mumbai. Having great passion for painting since her childhood, she had appeared for drawing exams during schooldays and then undergone modern art painting trainingat “kalamandir”, Coimbatore. Her favourite medium of painting is “acrylic on canvas”
Among the modern painting styles, she has a good grip over “photorealism” style of painting. All her paintings in this style are full of life. To name few, her paintings having titles “jungle queen’s stare” “the scared deer” falls in this category. She had tried her hand in conceptual paintings style also. Her painting titled “colourful soul: dark reality” tries to depict the scaring dark reality staring in the eyes of many female who carries lot of dreams at soul, but are unable to realise them by virtue of being born as a female. She had tried to combine the pop artstyle with photorealism by picking up the theme of street vendors which is a mundane subject.
